If you submit an article for publication on this or any other web we own, it will be assumed that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions as stipulated to in this section.

     I would very much like for those of you who want to, to share your Story. Whether it be a Rant of some problem you've encountered or difficulty in your life to a Rave of some event or encounter that has given you hope or in some way helped you cope with Cerebral Palsy or other major influence in your life. Much of what we learn is through the successes and pitfalls of others. Also most of us can relate to Rants and most like to hear of Raves.

Your personal information would be held in the strictest of confidence. Only the signature you want will be posted. We allow up to 2 links in any signature file so long as they meet the
"Guidelines for Submitting Articles".

     Decide where you want the story posted: Rants or Raves. I've broken these section up cause some people are not interested in the bitching and others are, some could care less of the successes and others live for them. You can post to either or both.

      I will create a page just for your story. I will post a link pointing to your story using the CAPTION: you provide such as

     You can post anonymously or I can include any information you want such as name, address, email, phone and I can post any Pictures you may want to place on your page. Maximum of 4 pics.

     I will not edit your story but do have say as to whether I will post it or not. I would expect you to observe net-etiquette but If you deem it necessary to curse I will not edit it. These are your Stories, your words and your opinions. I take no responsibility for their content. I will not post links to other sites that are self-serving in the body of your story but will post what directly relates to your story. I will post a self-serving links in the signature file at the end of your story.   I reserve the right to make other restrictions if they seem necessary but for now the space is yours to say what you want. The opinions expressed are yours and yours alone and we, this site and all connected with it assume no liability from anything you have expressed as your opinion. I would caution some restraint as you may incur a lawsuit for defamation if you name names or specific incidents. Your liability is yours alone.

     The limit on length will be 5000 words (or there abouts) This is about 8 pages in MS Word in font Times New Roman at font size 12.

     You can write a sentence, a paragraph, a page, or an 8 page short story. The choice is yours. When you send me the story do so as an attachment to an email. Make sure the attachment is exactly as you want your story to appear including any contact information or name you want posted. I will post the attachment NOT your email so if you want to give me special instructions or say something to me personally, do so in the email not the attachment. If you have pictures you want to post have them in .jpg or .gif format  and send each as a separate attachment. I may have to resize the pic to fit the allotted space and/or increase load times for those on dialup. If you want them placed in a particular spot within the story make sure you make room and mark the spot so I can CLEARLY see where to place the picture. Number the picture in the attachment correspondingly. If you have a caption for the picture like : "My kids first Steps"

     CLEARLY indicate this is a CAPTION for PICTURE 1 and put it in the area you created for the placeholder of the picture. Any pictures sent but not indicated where they should be placed will be placed at the end of your story. 

    A good example of what I would like:

     I want you to meet Robbie. My second child who has Cerebral Palsy/ Right Hemiplegia.

     Isn't he just the cutest thing you ever saw. This picture is of his first steps when he was a year old. Blah, Blah , Blah.

    We never thought Robbie would ever be able to ride a bike given his Right Hemiplegia but here he is on his first bike. We were so proud of him Blah, Blah, Blah.

    And so on. Now as to contact info. You can post anonymously and I will post no contact info. I will not post contact info unless you expressly ask me to AND have it in Your attachment.

    One just needs to change emailname = "Donate" to your name and emailserver = "cpsfn.org" to your website or email ISP.

    I got the script free so you can copy it if you'd like.

    As you can see this breaks up your email so that spambots cannot read them as email addresses. The email address shows to those who look at the page, but a spambot cannot see this as an email in the code. Scripts must be enabled on your browser to see the email. Also many popup blockers will not allow scripts to run so you may need to allow popups to see the email.

    This is the way I've posted all my email addresses in this website.

If you have a site that deals with any disabilities then consider either joining CPFSN.org  (it is totally free) and having a link to your site on the appropriate page (e.g. State, County) as well as the ‘Members’ page and the disabilities links page.

Or doing a simple link exchange and having your site appear on the ‘CP Family’ links page, if you or your child has CP or any disability. Your site does not have to be about any disability so long as you or your child has a disability.

If you do not have a disability or a child with a disability but have a site devoted to any disability you can have a reciprocal link placed on the disability links page

If you do not have a disability or have a site devoted to any disability you can still have a reciprocating link placed on the Non-CP other links page. A link exchange would not only show your support of this site but would increase your ranking with search through having another outside link (SEO).
  
Use the ‘Contact Us’ page and email Robert if you are interested in any link exchange or joining CPFSN.org. Send the information of the site you want us to link to and the Title and information as well as the URL you would like entered.
